Blackie is lonely. He is on his own in a large house with no human or feline companions. His owner, unfortunately, has been admitted to a nursing home and won’t be returning to care for this handsome boy.

Blackie is four years of age, neutered and up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. Having lived with a senior citizen for several years we suspect that a quiet, relaxed home environment would be best although another cat in the household could well prove to be a welcome friend. A dog, however, would not be appreciated for Blackie is not a great fan of canines in general. Children, on the other hand, are an unknown quantity, for Blackie has had no experience with little people but we suspect he would be quite accepting for he is very friendly and extremely affectionate,
