Drake And Nitro. Two Dogs Find Their Forever Homes

Dogs Drake and Nitro, adopted to new forever homes. Oasis Animal Rescue.

UPDATE 7 April:

Just one week after Nitro was adopted, Drake has now found his forever home with a husband and wife who reside in Durham Region. They have experience with his breed and welcomed him with open arms into their household. Hopefully his “golden years” will be some of his best.

Congratulations and best wishes Drake from your Oasis friends and supporters.

UPDATE 1 April:

Nitro has been adopted. He is now residing with a Toronto firefighter and his extended family in Port Hope. He has other canine companions and lots of room to run and play. His new owners fell in love with this little dog at the “meet & greet” and took him home immediately.

Drake continues his search for a forever home. Can you help him? Contact us at 289-385-6293 or scroll down for our online contact form.

Their story:

Drake and Nitro’s last few years have been difficult. Thankfully they have had each other to weather the irresponsible manner in which their previous owner cared for them and thus were not, at least, lonely. The time has come, however, for these boys to find loving forever home(s).

Meet Nitro – ADOPTED

It is not imperative that they re-homed together. Nitro is an eye catching, five year old Boston Terrier who is 100% healthy and up-to-date on all vaccinations. He is great with children and other dogs, loves to play with balls, adores a drive in the car and can be extremely affectionate.

Drake. Staffordshire Terrier for adoption. Oasis Animal Rescue

Meet Drake.

Drake though, at nine years of age, is slowing down a bit. This handsome Staffordshire Terrier loves to cuddle and is particularly good with children. It should be noted, however, that Drake has a true affinity for the adult males in his household so could conceivably be referred to as a “man’s dog”. Drake is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations and is showing no signs, whatsoever, of any physical problems as he enters the golden years of his life.
