Garfield. Cuddle Bug Cat LOVES Attention. Finds New Home

Garfield. Rescue cat for adoption at Oasis Animal Rescue, Oshawa, ON

UPDATE 16 February:

Well, great news today… Garfield has been adopted.

Affectionate Garfield met his new family when they visited him at his foster home. Normally shy with strangers, Garfield displayed none of this behaviour and immediately bonded with the six year old who approached him. It was lovely to watch. Garfield now resides in a large home in Brooklin with two young boys and their mother.

On behalf of Oasis staff, volunteers and all of our supporters…all the very best wishes to Garfield and his new family.

Original Text:

Garfield is a big “cuddle bug”. He is the sweetest boy and it is hard to believe that he was found wandering alone in the winter chill by a local community member in late 2013.

Thankfully she took pity on this feline and placed a call to Oasis. Garfield has now been neutered and brought up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. His temporary foster family cannot believe what a laid back, gentle personality this handsome boy has and are particularly enthralled by the way he constantly “talks to them”.

Seeking a permanent home, we believe Garfield will thrive in most any household but would most definitely want to be the centre of attention. He LOVES attention!!
