Maisie. Cat’s Life Improved After Uncertainty – Adopted

Adopt cat Maisie

UPDATE:

Congratulations go out to Maisie. She’s been adopted. YAY!

After a rough time last year when her owner moved away and her sister passed away, Maisie the cat has been staying in temporary pet foster care while we searched for her new forever home. But Maisie and her foster carer started to grow on each other and became best of friends – sooooo, her foster mom decided to adopt Maisie permanently. With the decision made – we suspect both of them breathed a huge sigh of relief.

Congratulations again. We’re so pleased things worked out so well.

Original Story:

Maisie and her sister Belle were in the same residence for many years. Unfortunately their owner decided to move to the Dominican Republic and was forced to give up these fourteen year old girls.

Belle, sadly, passed away within a week of their re-location into a loving foster home and Maisie misses her dreadfully. It is our hope that we can find a quiet household for this gorgeous Calico with the unique four colored markings. She is up-to-date on her vaccinations, spayed and healthy. Shy at first, Maisie warms up to a kind word and a gentle pat. Another cat, as a companion, would be a blessing in her new home.
