UPDATE 22 April: Barry has been adopted. Mia is still available for adoption

Mia and Barry have lived together for many years. Now, however, a divorce is in the offing and new residences are proving unsuitable or too disruptive for this pair of mature cats.

Mia, cat for adoption at Oasis Animal Rescue

Mia – female, spayed

Mia, acquired as a kitten ten years ago, is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She is very friendly and quite tolerant of children for she has been surrounded by these in her present environment.

Barry – male, neutered

Barry, also 10 years of age, was purchased at a pet store and subsequently has happily spent his days with his buddy Mia in a busy household. This sociable boy is up-to-date on his shots and neutered.

Both felines would make great companions for a senior citizen or retired couple – and grandchildren for occasional visits would be most welcome by Mia and Barry who are very comfortable with youngsters.
