Original Post:

Rosso (Adopted) and Forest (and their two siblings Chilli and Pearl) were born to a stray cat in the yard of a community member. Due to the threat of predators and extremely inclement weather, the four kittens were in real danger and the decision was taken to move the family into care. Their mother cat has so far evaded capture but efforts are ongoing to help her.

Mother cat Scarlett, currently nursing five kittens of her own, has thankfully accepted two of the kittens. We’ve named them Rosso and Forest. Their siblings are being introduced for foster to other cats also currently nursing litters.

Rosso and Forest are about two weeks of age. With the help of foster mom Scarlett, we know they will be happy and ready to join loving forever homes when they reach eight weeks of age. If interested in adopting, please scroll down for our contact page after the photos.
