Smokey. Super Affectionate Cat Finds Forever Home

UPDATE 17 June:

Smokey came to Oasis back in January as a young and pregnant stray. She raised her four kittens successfully and thankfully, a local pet-loving family helped us out by providing Smokey with temporary pet foster care while we continued the search for her permanent home. While in foster care, affectionate Smokey managed to capture the hearts of all in the household and a young teenage girl in the family became her new best friend – forever.

So, we’re happy to report that Smokey’s foster carers have now decided to adopt her permanently into their family. Isn’t that great?

Congratulations to you all. At one point young Smokey had a very uncertain future – now she’s safe and secure and enjoying life thanks to a caring local family. Best wishes to all of you from your friends at Oasis.

Original Story:

Smokey was brought to Oasis by a young couple who found her as a stray. It was quite evident that she was pregnant.

Subsequently four beautiful kittens were born and named Bandit, Tiger Lily, Titan and Eve. All have been adopted.

Smokey is about 12 months of age. She is super affectionate, loves to be held, very sociable and gets along well with other cats and dogs.
