UPDATE 18 April 2017:

Thunder has been adopted by a couple who live in the Orillia area on 80 plus acres. They have other dogs and horses so Thunder will have no lack of companionship.

Tragically Thunder’s owner died a few months ago and the man’s wife is not able to care for Thunder.

Thunder is a stunning six year old male Belgian Malinois. He had a rough start in life as his first owner was quite abusive. Fortunately Thunder has thrived over the last few years with an individual who loved him dearly.

Thunder is good with cats and other dogs. He would benefit greatly living with experienced dog owners, particularly those familiar with rescue dogs and Belgian Malinois or German Shepherd breeds.

He is seeking an adult home, in a country setting, with an active individual or couple. Thunder would also appreciate a well-trained, older dog, for companionship.

Thunder is energetic, loves playing, going for long walks and will retrieve balls endlessly. He is extremely intelligent and excellent off leash in the dog park.

Neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations, Thunder is alert, friendly and well behaved. True to his breed he can have high energy. He can be watchful and protective, particularly for the women in his life.
