Handler Rates Zap: “Well-Behaved, First-Rate Dog” – ADOPTED

Zap. A rottie for adoption
UPDATE: Zap has found his forever home in Ajax! Looks like our boy Zap will have an active lifestyle too, as he’ll be spending weekends at the cottage with his new family (and dog playmate). Exactly what he needed.

Congratulations Zap and very best of wishes from your friends at Oasis.

Zap’s Story:

Zap has been registered with Oasis for six months and has spent about four months of that time at a kennel in Durham Region. Two previous adoptions failed. However, the owner of the facility where Zap is currently housed, shares nothing but glowing praise for this well behaved, sociable boy who is good with other dogs and enjoys the company of the ten year old girl who resides on the property. With many years of experience training and handling dogs, he considers Zap to be “first rate”.  So, we do too!!

Two failed placements in his forever home search have sadly proven to be very disruptive for Zap who was truly happy, content and thriving in both. We hope he won’t be disappointed again and we are now searching for an adoptive family genuine in their desire to give Zap a GREAT forever home with no strings attached.

With support for successful re-homing from both Oasis and Zap’s current carer, perhaps Zap will become your loyal dog. Need more info? Please get in touch – Zap would love to meet you!
