Oasis has partnered with this organization helping dogs in Mexico find homes in Canada. Huellitas de Acero (Little Steel Prints Rescue and Shelter) has been operating for 10 years in Puerto Escondido a municipality in Mexico.
Operated by Maria de Lordes Perez Escobedo, and managed by a Canadian retiree from Vancouver, this organization was granted a parcel of land by the Mexican government four years ago that allows it to accommodate in excess of 150 dogs.
Vet care, food, supplies etc. are all acquired via the generosity of donations and the goal is to find as many approved forever homes as possible for the dogs in residence. We at Oasis here in Canada believe we can help.
