Jemina. After Cat Dumped At Oasis, Now Happy In New Home

Adopt rescue cat Jemina

UPDATE 28 January:

Jemina is having a great day today…the very day she’s been waiting for, in fact! She’s found her forever home!

Jemina’s new home is in Ajax with two young children, 17 months and four years of age, and their parents. Jemina’s new owners fell in love with her picture on the Oasis website and within less than 72 hours they had completed the required paperwork, had the home visit and claimed her as their very own.

We’re so pleased for Jemina and her new family. Congratulations to you all.

Original Text:

Jemina was unceremoniously dumped at the Oasis office. It is suspected that she had been confined to a cage for a lengthy period of time and thus was covered in urine.

Happily, after receiving a good bath, she is now shiny clean and let us know, in no uncertain terms, how much she enjoyed having her face massaged by a fluffy towel when being dried.

Jemina is now up-to-date on her vaccinations, spayed and deemed 100% healthy.

This one year old girl is really very sweet. The hope is that she will find a forever home that can supply her with lots of hugs, pats, treats and toys for many, many years to come.
