Shadow. Cat Finally Finds Her Forever Home

UPDATE 11 February:

Shadow has finally been adopted. This little gal has been registered with us since last year and it is wonderful to know that she now resides with a young couple in Thornhill. Originally from the state of Georgia, U.S.A., the decision was made that a “rescue” cat should complete their household here in Canada and Shadow proved to be the perfect fit.

On behalf of the Oasis team, all of our supporters and especially the kind, local resident who cared enough to help you get a new start… best wishes in your new home Shadow. Congratulations. Relax and enjoy.

Shadow found a “guardian angel”, and a generous benefactor, in a local resident when she wandered into a garden several months ago. Transported immediately to the vet, spayed and brought up-to-date on her vaccinations, this seven to eight year old feline is now ready for her forever home.

Shadow presently lives with another cat but is somewhat shy and would do best in a quiet household with no other pets. She is very friendly and affectionate and we suspect she would make a fabulous companion to a senior citizen or retired couple. However, Shadow seems to love kids too and has proved to be very comfortable being handled by children, so she could also be a fabulous addition to any family with youngsters.
